Two railcards for same person?

Hi, I'm pretty sure this is possible but I wanted to check with you experts first.

I have a few months left of my Family & Friends railcard, but my son is at the age where he increasingly makes his own plans for days out.

As I'm in the South East, can I get myself a Network Railcard for my solo journeys, even though my F&F hasn't expired, and just be careful which card I use at any given time?

Yes, nothing wrong with that. Will just cost you another £35.

Yep, I've got both a valid Senior Railcard and a Disabled Persons Railcard. The latter bought after the former for discounts on early morning weekday trips in the Southeast (once I'd been prescribed hearing aids). As Mcr Warrior says - only issue is that it's cost me an additional fee

The Railcard app will happily swap between 2 Railcards. More than that and you'll have to unload and reload cards.

If using physical cards there's no problem.

At one point I had three Two Together Railcards with different people.

I currently have a Disabled Railcard and Two Together Railcard (I won't be buying any more tickets with that, but I have some for November I bought before I was eligible for the other Railcard). It was a little annoying that I renewed the Two Together just two months before getting the other card, but I've saved more than the cost of the card.

Actually, I may have underestimated. At the moment mine had both my active Railcards and my most recent expired card.

At one point a couple of years ago I owned an Annual Gold Card, a Network Railcard, two Two Together Railcards and a Friends & Family Railcard.

that's a weird limit!

The other one to watch out for is the Railcards which allow two named cardholders - some retailers (I'm looking at you, Trainline) only let you attach them to one account - so if the other person wants to use it, they have to log in to the app as the purchaser. This is obviously more of a problem for the Friends & Family railcard than Two Together, but still feels like a fairly big omission.
