Could anyone please advise on the Delay Repay entitlement for season ticket holders if a journey is delayed by 120+ minutes? I am looking at the CrossCountry passenger charter in particular:
The table in the charter shows that, for a weekly season for instance, the value of each single journey is 1/10 x total price. For a delay of 2 hours or more, is the passenger entitled to 1/5 of the weekly season price (as that would be the equivalent of a return journey), or is it just 1/10 (no difference to a 1-hour delay?).
Edited to add: The reference to "five return journeys" in the charter quoted above looks very promising given the following excerpt from the FAQ:
(The charter, however, is careful to talk about return tickets only in connection with 2-hour delays.)
In the case of Season tickets, Delay Repay compensation is calculated based on the proportional single ticket price paid for that journey. For example, the daily proportional cost of a seven-day ticket is calculated based on an assumption that ten single journeys are made per working week (five return journeys).
