Two freight workings, numbers unknown

Both of these were spotted 30/8/11:

First was a DRS 66 seen through Carnforth station with containers, I reckon 4S44, Daventry-Coatbridge intermodal.

Second was an EWS 92 with 'zoo' sticker, seen from the motorway, north of Carlisle, possibly (according to out of date Freightmaster book) 4M63, the Mossend-Hams Hall intermodal.


Does anyone know the exact traction? Many thanks.

What time you saw the trains would have been useful for confirmation, but 4S44 was 66424 and 4M63 was 92017 (so not what you saw) yesterday.

The 92 you saw may have been 92041 on 6M49 Mossend - Carlisle.

Good point, forgot about the times, soz. 92 seen northbound near Metal Bridge at about 13:16pm.

DRS 66 seen at about 15:34pm northbound through Carnforth.

Clearly wouldn't have been the southbound Mossend - Hams Hall service then. Nor the Mossend - Carlisle engineers. Probably 92019 on 4S43 Daventry - Mossend Stobart service.
