Two advances - What if connection missed?

I'm looking at travelling Manchester - Doncaster then Doncaster - Kings Cross, both on advance fares. The trains I'd like to catch give an 11 minute connection in Doncaster. If the TPE from Manchester was late & I missed the VTEC to London, would I be able to use the advance ticket on the next VTEC to London?

The minimum connection time at Doncaster is 7 minutes. Therefore that itinerary is valid and you will be allowed to use a later train if the connection is missed.
