To be quite honest - I've refrained from posting my opinions for a few weeks as most don't like them and am surprised that Adam has responded to criticism on here as this isn't an official RS forum.
However on the subject of the deltic sounds feel I can add something.
The sounds are not consistent with how a deltic runs. Yes you spent a day at Barrow Hill recording the actual sounds but didn't record any of high speed running, or if you did its non evident. When there is a field change in the generator it does not sound like another engine firing up. The deltics had a particular pitch when running at speed that is totally missing from the game - watch a few dvds and you'll know what I mean.
