TUI flight BY762/3 Bristol-Cape Verde (SID) flight

Morning, does anyone know the reason why the above flight got diverted to Faro enroute to Cape Verde on 20/09/25 and diverted via Lisbon on 27/09/25 please?
i am on this flight next Saturday to Cape Verde and it is supposed to be a nonstop direct flight

More than likely a medical issue on board. Just a coincidence it’s happened 2 Saturdays on the bounce.

Having flown to Cape Verde and back we had to stop in Tenerife to take fuel on on our return. This was due to a lack of fuel in Cape Verde. So this might be a possible reason

I'm sure you've looked into this, but if not try and get an exit seat for a little more leg room. That will help
