'631W' Robeston-Theale tankers stopped between Kintbury and Newbury for safety inspection around 0600. Fire and Police services in attendance at Kintbury although appears precautionary. Lines blocked. Seems to be a 1Z99 at Woodborough on the way. Tail light of tankers visible from Kintbury crossing.

1K03 06.01 Bedwyn/Paddington appears to be in the platform at Hungerford - hopefully any passengers will have been shifted by now.

Edit: 1A73 05.05 Penzance/Paddington diverted via Westbury and now well on the way to Melksham.

Presumably all the safety precautions are as a result of the derailment and fire involving this service at Llangennech last year?

From a very reliable source off mine between kintbury and bedwyn 60007 suffered a small fuel leak from the locomotive. Which caused a very small fire which was very quickly extinguished from the locomotives fire extinguishers system. However 60007 on recently returned to service from a long term store at toton. However due to leak the rail heads also needed inspection from the fuel leak.

I'm sure I read somewhere that it also suffered a fuel leak last week as well...
