Tube Challenge Advice

I'm planning on attempting the tube challenge next week (not for the record), so I would need a travelcard covering zones 1-9. I am aware of the 'trick' of setting the origin station within Zones 7-9 however I hold a 16-17 saver which is not valid on travelcards with the origin station inside the zones. So what's the cheapest option? Thanks in advance.

Not really possible with what they're wanting. Oyster is fine for normal people, but it's very easy to get maximum fared when doing stuff on the tube.
