TTI Grippers Where to buy them from

I am due to start my TTI training at the SVR and was wondering if anybody knew where i could purchase a set of grippers. so i look the part

Thank goodness you asked! haha. Do the TOCs not provide you with some?! Or is there a way TOCs get them and have you buy them from them?

Theres a fella who works on southeastern who has a train shaped punch out.. very nice!

I just call them ticket punches or hole punches.

I used to have a pair with the plastic clipping catcher, but must have lost it.
Those are nice.

The train-shaped punch sounds really nice, Clip. Kind of like a signature.

When I originally posted, I thought the term grippers was referring to what we call pliers over here.
As in, "What, you aint got no ticket, mate? Let me crush yer finger, then!"

Identical single hole punch as illustrated by Jordy are obtainable from "Staples" the office stationary store if there is a branch near you. Retail price around £2.50

Next time i do the trip and get checked by him ill save the ticket and scan it.. Must have got it from a craft shop or something

Not sure if SET staff are being issued with them, but there's also a female High Speed manager who has a train-shaped gripper

Bumping an old thread here but I too am a TTI on the SVR. Try Barry at Hampton Loade as he might have a few knocking about, but like others say the standard hole punch does wonders!
