TS 2015 not launching?

Hi,

I have just installed Train Simulator 2015 on my laptop however I am having a few problems. I am unable to play the game as it does not launch when I press play in Steam. I have verified the game cache twice yet this didn't help. I have also un-installed and re-installed Steam and TS2015 however this didn't make a difference.

I am running it on Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit.

Any advice appreciated, thanks.

What are the PC system requirements for playing Train Simulator?
The following is the minimum requirements for playing Train Simulator on a PC:

• OS: Windows® XP / Vista / 7 / 8
• Processor: Processor: 2.8 GHz Core 2 Duo (3.2 GHz Core 2 Duo recommended), AMD Athlon MP (multiprocessor variant or comparable processors)
• Memory: 2 GB RAM
• Graphics: 512 MB with Pixel Shader 3.0 (AGP PCIe only)
• DirectX®: 9.0c
• Hard Drive: 6 GB HD space
• Sound: Direct X 9.0c compatible
• Internet connection

Please note:
Laptop versions of these chipsets may work but are not officially supported. Updates to your video and sound card drivers may be required

Train Simulator simulates a large game world and this puts more load on the CPU than games with more limited playing areas. To get the best frame rates possible you should use a Desktop processor such as the Intel Desktop Core i5 series (“Sandy Bridge”, “Ivy Bridge” or “Haswell”); or the AMD FX series (“Bulldozer” or “Piledriver” at 3.5GHz or above).

Although the game will run with 512MB of graphics memory, it is better to have between 1GB and 2GB, and a graphics card with over of 60GB/second memory bandwidth will also help.
Quicktime Player is required for playing videos
