Trying Avanti Again - Euston to Glasgow, 22 Dec

I'm on the 1740 Euston Glasgow Central Avanti service. The one that is overtaken by the 1830 service.

I have been absolutely blown away by how good the service has been, on a Seat Frog upgrade too.

I have had two hot meals, numerous drinks and snacks and truly lovely staff.

It is superior to what I got on LNER between London and Inverness.

Drinks were served while we were at the platform at Euston (where there was a slight departure delay).

Dinner orders taken while at the platform.

The festive feast curry was so tasty.
Then crisps, snacks (the chips and dips are really good!) and constant drink orders.

Added to this my SeatFrog upgrade allowed me access to the much improved lounge at Euston and you have one happy bunny.

Fancied the New York Deli Sandwich, it's served hot! And is so delicious.

On my 7th Prosecco by the way.

I need to fuel up my next trips: overnight on Ember to the far north, departing Glasgow at midnight

Ooof. As the train was 16 minutes late I have just had an email confirming £24 refund. I opted in for auto delay repay.

Incidentally this included a refund in my SeatFrog upgrade, I included the screen shot on the delay clarification screen.
