TRUST IDs

Hi, could someone explain one digit from TRUST IDs please. It is the letter or number that immediately precedes the date, i.e., third digit from right.

Do you mean the 10 character IDs? If so the third from right is the 'call code' - see https://wiki.openraildata.com/index.php/Train_Activation ('train_id' halfway down) and https://wiki.openraildata.com/index.php?title=Call_Code for the meaning of the code.
