BBC sport have an article about the distances Truro fans are travelling to away games this season, and which compares driving, flying and taking the train to the game at Gateshead yesterday:
914 miles, 185 fans - doing English football's longest away day
I'm assuming their cost of £297 for the journey by train is a walk up ticket. I looked on the forum's site which can currently find a price of £217.90 for the Hartlepool game on 29th with some very long waits in places starting 22:29 Friday evening and getting home 14:05 on Sunday. It's not cheap being a football fan nowadays!

When Truro City kicked off at Gateshead in the National League on Saturday, they did so backed by 185 fans who had taken the longest journey in English league football history.
Promoted from the regional divisions to national level for the first time this summer, never before has a team travelled as far as Truro had on the hunt for three points.
BBC Sport journeyed with fans from Cornwall up to the North East, to find out what makes a 914-mile round-trip following a football team worthwhile.
