Trucks/wagons at Bham New Street

Apologies if there's already been a thread, but: do these go in and out of the station at all, or have they sat there since x date? And did anyone see the traction bringing it in? Thanks.

The wagons are worked to and from Small Heath, where they are loaded with the equipment for the ongoing station refurnishment works. The cycle depends on the amount of materials used, but in every case they are worked to/from duirng the night.

I believe there are still two sets of wagons allocated to the work.

They are normally worked by a Class 66

Exactly as Old Timer says. Here's a couple of (pretty basic quality) photos of 66024 leading one of the two wagon rakes out of New Street one night in June last year.
