Hi everyone,

I had my assessment centre today and overall the day went really well, waiting to find out the result over the next week or so but I had a question about the Trainability for Rules and Procedures part 2. This particular one also had numbers around the semi circle dials and I struggled to differentiate between the colours and I seem to remember the assessor saying prioritise the lower numbers first, so I put them in order of the lowest number first without taking into account the colour of the segments, does anyone know if this is wrong? If that's the case then I may have written off the entire test! If I am right, then I'm safe! Would appreciate any advice anyone can give.

Did everyone on your assessment day make it to the end of the day? Or does everyone get to sit every test?

Thanks

Right, there are 3 segments left most segment checked first the middle segment second and the right segment third. If you have 2 in the same segment then the one with the lowest number is checked first. Hope that's how you did it.

Oh an afterthought you are not penalized for incorrect answers.

I'm very interested in the answer to this too. All the test info only has three different shades in varying priorities. What were the numbers added for?

The numbers are used to prioritise any dials that have the pointer in the same segment.

Thanks for the advice. I think I will be okay then! Quite a relief.

I can't say if you got it right or not, as I cannot remember the exact procedures involved in completing this test as it was over 4 years ago.

But don't you get time at the beginning of the test to make sure you understand the instructions 100%?

Don't you have to complete a few practice questions at the beginning to ensure you get the right idea of how to prioritise the dials?

If you got the practice questions wrong you were told so and why?

If still unsure you get the chace to ask before the test starts?

You usually get plenty of time for this?

IIRC this test was designed to make sure you knew what you were doing before starting the test.
