Why is the town side platform (2) made up of a platform which extends under the road bridge when it's not used? It's got the usual stop signs and the do not cross the line board under the bridge buy the platform extends beyond this about 50ft. Would you be allowed to photo off this point of the platform?

Is there a sign saying do not pass this point? Or is there a line on the floor? If neither then you should be ok.
I haven't been through Trowbridge for a little while so can't remember the layout.
It usually means the tracks as I believe it is a shortened version of "Do not cross the line except by means off the footbridge". Although may not be the case for here.

Beat me too it with a pic. That's the place, I've seen spotters and photters up there in the past no trouble.

I'd say the railing was a pretty obvious don't pass this point. Don't be surprised if you were moved on if spotted up there.
