Hi All
How does Bibbington Summit (1180ft) between Dove Holes and Buxton rank in the listings for highest in England?

Highest point in England is Ais Gill summit at 356 m (1,169 ft). Bibbington summit is slightly lower being listed in official route diagrams as 347 m (1,140 ft). Highest in the UK is on the Highland main line at Druimachdar which is 452 m or 1480 ft.

Whistle Inn Halt, on the Pontypool and Blaenavon Railway, is 398m (1307 feet), and claims the title of the highest point on preserved standard-gauge line in the United Kingdom, not just England and Wales. If their proposed northern extension ever happens, summit at Waunafon would be about 430m=1400 feet.

I keep wondering what (if anything) - apart from the Snowdon Mountain Railway - goes higher in England and Wales.
