Bending the rules slightly to include the three-platform station at Bradford Forster Square which has 1&2 capable of taking a full-length IC225 set, and 3 which only takes a 4-car EMU. Funnily enough, Bradford Interchange is similar but each platform is double-sided giving four faces, two long and two short.

Similar situation at Huntingdon. Platforms 2 and 3 on the slow lines can take a 12 car EMU, or an IC225 during times of disruption. Platform 1, the Up bay, only takes a four car EMU.

And though it's not a two-platform station, there's a fair bit of a variance between platform 1, which can only hold a 4-car train (and only 20m carriages IIRC) and the other platforms which are all capable of handling 12 23m cars.

You may well be right. Railway Track Diagrams (Eastern) - Fourth Edition (2016) has Haddiscoe with a 4 car length platform on Platform 2 (towards Lowestoft) but only 2 car length on Platform 1 (towards Norwich).

https://www.whatdotheyknow.com/requ...68221/attach/3/eaXXp.pdf?cookie_passthrough=1 has the " Timetable Planning Rules Anglia 2019 TIMETABLE Version 4.1".

It says that the Down platform at Haddiscoe is 182m (85m in use). The Up platform is 46m long.

At Woodbridge the Down is 129m, (53m is in use), the Up is 142m (130m is in use).

Think one of the platforms at Morecambe is a bit longer than the other one

That's the old station that's not in use now, the new station is one platform with two faces one is a bit shorter about 40'.

Ulverston the north bound platform 1 is quite a bit shorter than platforms 2 & 3 (island) platforms but a lot of these platforms are not in use

At Abergavenny Monmouth Road, the up platform was extended c.1960 to its 12 coach length, running right up to the section signal (5). Similar extension of the down platform (which remains at its 5 coach length) was not possible because the connections from the down main to the back platform and from the back platform to the down goods loop were in the way. It could not be extended southward because of the barrow crossing and the water tank tower. I was told that the back platform was used for one passenger departure each week, to Pontypool on market days, until about the 1950s.

In this case the signal protecting the LC is a couple of coach lengths back from the platform end, so the Up needed extending (though why it got the full 8 cars I don't know).
As well as the goods yard, Ash had up and down bays for the former shuttle to Aldershot (which disappeared almost completely with electrification); the platforms were unusually narrow for double-sided (no wider than now) and IIRC were identical length.
I believe that some original stations in the greater Aldershot area (North Camp is an obvious example), were built with long platforms to accomodate Troop trains. Ash was probably built accordingly.
North Downs now only requires 3 car 165 (soon to be 4 car 769) Ash & Wanborough are serviced by 4 car 450.
Being very pedantic, platform 8 at Guildford is shorter than all the other through (12 car) platforms (southern section has a ramp and railing rather than a full length platform face).
