Carnoustie - Golf Street in the Up direction only, timetabled for 4 minutes in the Down direction presumably as a PPM swizz.

The service in the down direction is timed longer because of an adjustment required by the Train Planning Rules. 2 minutes adjustment time for any train terminating in platform 2, due to approach control. Therefore minus this allowance the journey time is the same as the up direction, 1.5 minutes.

Manchester oxford road to deansgate must be doable in a minute though I think it is timed for 2.
I thought the same for Ardrossan Harbour to Ardrossan Town but they are timed for 2, sometimes 3 minutes. Prestwick town to Prestwick International Airport is mostly timed for one.

Just thought of newhaven town to newhaven harbour. That appears to be a minute.
And what about newhaven harbour to newhaven marine? You can walk that one in a minute even if it isn’t possible to catch a train.

Devonport to Dockyard (in Plymouth) is timetabled 1 minute in one direction, 2 minutes the other.

Bidston to Upton in that direction only is timetabled for one minute. A feat which is impossible; although the WTT shows the ‘real’ times.

The reverse is publicly timetabled for nine to eleven minutes.

There were probably dozens more examples five or ten years ago before TOCs built in more time into their timetables to make leeway for delays!

Altrincham to Navigation road is only half a mile. And it is not much further from Altrincham to Hale

I've travelled from Wigan North Western to Wigan Wallgate in around one minute.

Obviously that's a joke and off topic, but what are the others within a minute or so's walking distance of each other? High levels and low levels like Glasgow Queen Street and Liverpool Lime Street not allowed, and London main line to tube doesn't count either.

If two others similar to Wigan are suggested then I'll start a new thread for it!

St Budeaux Ferry Road to St Budeaux Victoria Road
Heath High Level to Heath Low Level
Catford to Catford Bridge
London Waterloo to Waterloo East

I think there might be a few more as well...

Mauldeth Road - Burnage
Burnage - East Didsbury

Ardwick - Ashburys
Gorton - Fairfield

All of the above pairings are under a mile distance.

Certainly no timetabled services between the first and last two though - St Budeax and Waterloo interchanges are only accessible by foot.

Newbury to Newbury Racecourse appear to be timetabled for 95s / 1 and a half minutes. As does St James's Park to Exeter Central.

Reading West to Reading and Central to St Davids is surprisingly a leisurely 3 minutes.

Sorry my post was in response to this, which was asking which station pairs were only 1 minute apart by foot.

Not strictly on topic, apologies

There is at least one timetable service for the St Budeax interchange:

Although why anybody would board at Ferry Road, travel via Plymouth to Victoria Road is a mystery, no point to point tickets available IIRC

Would love to see the guards reaction should any passengers decide to make Ferry Road to Victoria journey by rail.:E
There are no tickets for the route, go to Plymouth quite often, if there's time I'll jump on a train & ask the guard for a ticket and see the reaction. Guess they would sell 2 singles to / from Plymouth
