[Trivia] Smaller stations served by the most TOCs

I was thinking about my local station, Stoke-on-Trent, earlier. It's relatively small (especially compared to it's nearby cousins, Crewe and Stafford, which both serve much smaller towns), with just 3 platforms - 2 through platforms and one bay platform. Despite this, it is regularly served by 5 different TOCs - Avanti, CrossCountry, Northern, EMR and LNR/WMT.

I was just wondering what other examples there are of smaller stations, say 4 platforms max, served by lots of TOCs

Ely comes fairly close with only three platforms and 4 TOCs: EMR, Cross Country, Greater Anglia and GTR. Plus of course a lot of freight traffic!

Durham has 2 platforms (+a passing track) and 4 TOCs - XC, TPE, LNER, Northern
Brough 2 platforms - 4 TOCs - Northern, TPE, LNER, Hull Trains

This is a bit of a stretch:
Liverpool South Parkway (High Level) - 4 platforms - 5 TOCs (+1 future) - EMR, Northern, LNWR, TPE, TfW + Avanti in Future.

I had a feeling it would be somewhere on the ECML, given the presence of the open access operators

Leuchars is also up there with 2 platforms and 4 TOCs (ScotRail, LNER, XC from the timetable change, sleeper). If you’re counting “companies operating services appearing in the NR timetable”, add Stagecoach.

Although I suppose if you’re counting Stagecoach, you also have to count the bus shelter as a platform!

Dunbar has four TOCs calling and until 2019 only one platform. Don't think TPE served it when it was a single platform station though. Still, three TOCs is impressive for a single platform. Can't think of any other single platform stations with 3 or more TOCs calling.

Morpeth has 2 platforms and 5 operators, LNER, XC, TPE, Northern, LUMO.

Particularly 'impressive' since all four operators can be used for the short journey to Newcastle. Of course there's also the concomitant mess of walk-up and Advance tickets!

I’d say 0712 in the morning but a day time. Maybe for teenagers and students it isn’t as everything up to midday is “night”.

The bus stop at Llandudno Junction station used to be known as "platform 5". I'm pretty sure that there's still a numeral sign above it, even though the signs directing you to "platform 5" have been replaced.
