Trivia: Potentially confusing journeys between two stations sounding the same

So this is my first ever trivia quiz I've created, if I remember!

I wondered how many journeys there are between two stations that sound similar. For example:

Cottingham to Nottingham or Mottingham
Olton (Solihull) to Alton
Shoreham-by-Sea to Shoreham (Kent)
Ashford (Surrey) to Ashford International
Clapham Junction to Clapham (North Yorkshire)

Good old Clapton and Clacton has confused more that one booking clerk.

Back in the day of the blue card point to point tickets for staff travel, it was good juvenile fun to come up with odd combinations.

Personal favourite was Bowling to Bat and Ball, but Brampton to Brampton was indeed another as you could be virtually anywhere with a ticket like that.

Off-topic, but some friends of mine were out walking with me and the wife on Marsden moor. The other woman said she had never been to the site of the famous battle before and it was somewhat more hilly than she'd remembered from studying it at school. We all looked blank and then realised she was referring to the battle of Marston Moor.
