Trivia: Nearby stations that aren't walking interchanges.

Journey planner only offers the Wanstead Pk - Forest Gate walk for Barking-Stratford (about 300 yds).
Manor Pk - Woodgrange Pk (about 500 yds) isn't suggested.

Found another one.
Wemyss Bay - Gourock doesn't offer the walk from Drumfrochar down the hill to Greenock West, despite it cutting the journey time by 30 mins.

reason why kirkdale is a interchange station is because it is wheelchair accessible and rice lane(both platforms) and Walton (one platform) are not wheelchair accessible

Another one in London that is a reasonable walking interchange but possibly not recognised as one would be Vauxhall (London & South Western Railway) and Victoria (London, Brighton, & South Coast Railway/London, Chatham, & Dover Railway).

Although the London Underground Victoria Line links both stations, it is a reasonable walk along Vauxhall Bridge Road with both stations at either end.

Can't accept that is reasonable. Vauxhall Station is at the south end of Vauxhall Bridge, not the north end. Pimlico station was added between Vauxhall and Victoria on the Victoria Line precisely because neither station was within reasonable walking distance! Anyway, why would you not just change at Clapham Junction?

According to the TfL website, the interchange at Brixton between London Underground Victoria Line and the London, Chatham, & Dover Railway is very strangely not a recognised interchange on through journeys.

However, the interchange between Shepherd's Bush West London Line and London Underground Central Line is a recognised interchange.

Are any of the Pontefract stations interchanges?

Tanshelf to Baghill is easily walkable in about 10mins or so, but Baghill has such a poor service that if you're travelling from say, Featherstone to York you'd be better off changing at Wakefield Kirkgate and Leeds, or even Monkhill and Leeds. Not sure if they are an official Interchange though.

I'd be surprised if Monkhill and Tanshelf are an Interchange, as almost half the services at Monkhill also call at Tanshelf.

On London Underground instead of changing at Notting Hill Gate you can change between-
Bayswater (Circle and District lines) and Queensway (Central line)

Both stations are sited in the road called Queensway and less than 2 minutes walk apart .

For anyone planning this at a busy shopping time, it's worth considering walking round the outside of the shopping centre rather than through it - probably a very slightly longer distance but perhaps a more straightforward route and you completely avoid any crowds.

Euston to King's Cross is a "transfer" rather than a walk - even though the walk isn't too far! (It is a TfL OSI though).
