Trivia: Longest School Journey

The Catholic children of Coleford attending St Peter's RC High School in Gloucester have a 1hr 47m bus ride each way. (Long enough to do/copy all their homework, no doubt!).

I'm sure it can't be the longest though.

Askham Bryan College in York have some long distance services… the longest would be route N which starts at Tesco Eaglescliffe near Yarm at 0650, running into college around 0845. There are several long distance services though including starting in Driffield, Cleckheaton and Boroughbridge

Stephensons operate my route 513 to the Southend & Westcliff Schools from Witham which takes 1hr 50m (06:40 - 08:30). A similar route 503 starts in Althorne at 06:15(!!) however passengers change onto route 504 part way through for the above mentioned schools. (06:15 - 08:10)
