Trivia: Longest ECS working

What ECS workings are the longest, in terms of distance or time? This has to be workings that are regularly scheduled daily/weekly in the working timetable, not one offs.

I think you'll find that the SuO Virgin Trains 5D43 0927 from Barton Under Needwood Rsmd to Holyhead outdoes everything else!

Barton under Needwood to Holyhead is 150 miles - I don't think there is any current ECS move that beats that.

Would any of the really long ECS moves have enough demand if they were to be made into service trains?

Doubt it.
And another reason for running ECS is that it gives the operator flexibility when there is out of course working for some reason.
