We know that the least used station in the UK is Denton for the 2023/2024 stats.

But what is the least served station.

From Memory:
Brigg - 1 train a day in each direction
Kirkton Lindsey - As above
Gainsborough Central - as above.

Others that come to mind
Bordesley ?
Leeds - Goole = Via the Pontefract line. Providing the only services to; Rawcliffe, Snaith, Hensall & Whitley Bridge 3 trains a day
Heysham Port/Arbour - 1 train per day
Helsby to Ellesmere Port - intermediate stations.
Stockport to Stalybridge Line. Only service that calls at Reddish South & Denton

Polesworth. One early morning train in the Northbound direction only (to Crewe) at 0648. Nothing on Sundays.

Based on the long term plan timetable for May 2024, here are the top 10 least served stations. It excludes stations such as IBM and Teesside Airport which currently have none, and as has already been mentioned, the Bordesley figure is a bit misleading due to a number of extra trains calling on match days.

I'll be playing with the data for the December 2024 timetable next week, so shall see if anything changes. But if there's any specific stations you'd like to know, let me know :)

Bordesley is a bit misleading, really it's now a special-purpose station just to serve the football ground in all but name.

Shippea Hill is actually only served once a week in the UP direction. The other six are all DOWN services.
