For a long while I've had my eye on EN 414. It's the daily connection/sleeper from Belgrade to Zürich.

Leaves Belgrade at 10am, passing through
Serbia
Croatia
Slovenia
Austria
Liechtenstein
Switzerland
before arriving at Zürich HB at 9:30am.
That's six countries in just short of 24 hours!

I believe the section to Zagreb is just the day train, with the Croatian sleepers to Munich/Zürich attached there and split at Innsbruck? Is that correct?

It certainly used to be the case that the through sleepers from Zurich were dropped off when you got to Zagreb in the morning [longest through journey between two places started with Z, I guess, while we're on trivia!] . And although seating stock carried on to Belgrade during the day, if you wanted to travel direct from Zurich to Belgrade, but wanted to have a bed for the night en route, you'd have to switch carriages at Zagreb.

What about the Nice-Moscow sleeper? France, Monaco, Italy, Austria, Czech Republic, reaching Poland in a smidgen over 24 hours - not quite 6 countries in 24 hours, but almost.

Schwarzach St. Veit is where the split/join is done: the Innsbruck stop is only a few minutes whereas Schwarzach is over an hour. It’s also more efficient for diagramming as EN414 is booked an SZ 541 (Slovenian equivalent of an ÖBB 1216 “Taurus 3”) from Dobova through to Schwarzach which can then pick up EN415 back home; running through to Innsbruck would mean an extra loco would be needed for EN415.
