Trivia - Destinations that arent in the locality boundary

I was thinking earlier, as I was looking at some old photographs, of bus destinations that aren't actually in the settlement or locality displayed.

Example of which, the former National Express West Midlands 636 used to display "Quinton Stag" at its final destination at one stage, even though the Stag and Three Horseshoes pub is in... Hurst Green. This destination is still used occasionally for buses running short journeys for services when late running is bad.

Is there any other examples of this?

First Bristol service runs to Cherry Gardens and historically that was the destination shown. A few years ago, this was replaced by Bitton… but the terminus is still CG and that’s half a mile short of Bitton. It is near the former Bitton station but that’s a misnomer too

Man in Space is a pub in the Trentham area of Stoke-on-Trent

Not shown on the bus, but we have two services, the 90 and 90a which are shown on the displays in Chesterfield town centre as going to 'Walton'. The trouble is, they go different routes and one goes beyond Walton to Somersall. It's never called Somersall on the buses or the timetables, it's always called Yew Tree Estate, a name I've never heard used other than on said timetables.

Unless you know which bus number you need it's very tricky to know how to get to us! You can't just tell someone to get the Walton bus as one doesn't go this far. Both the council and operator could really do with sorting the names out to avoid confusion.

Leatherhead-bound buses on the Reptons Coaches route 478 between Guildford and Leatherhead used to show "Woodbridge Tesco" on the destination board (I'm unsure if they still do; I've seen a few which just say "Leatherhead" recently).

This was particularly confusing as not only is there an area of Guildford called Woodbridge, but I'm not even sure if Woodbridge is a place in Leatherhead - Google yields no results aside from a road called "Woodbridge Avenue" which is, admittedly, near the Tesco in question.

Not particularly clear or helpful if you're unsure of which bus to take. Though, with that said, it is very much a "local bus for local people" shopper-type route, so probably not the most important thing in the world, as most passengers are regulars who know the drivers on first name terms (or at least that has been the case the handful of times I've used the route).
