What bus routes have two consecutive stops with identical name on the route, shown on timetables / websites / stop announcements?
The existence of such stops can confuse passengers seeing two identical names on the stop list in consecutive position.
Criteria:
* A route calling at two consecutive stops with identical name counts, with the exception if the first and the second are very near each other and the first serves as an alighting only stop, e.g. in a bus terminus.
* It does not matter if the consecutive stops with the same name is on the same street or not, as long as nothing distinguishing the stops are shown on the timetable / website / announced on board.
* If the stop names are qualified differently, such that they are not shown identically or announced identically, it does not count.
Here are some examples in my region:
morebus m1 to Poole: 2 Castlepoint (the first on Hamblin Way, the second on Castle Lane West)
morebus X3 to Bournemouth: 2 Queens Park Hotel (the first on Holdenhurst Road, the second on Ashley Road)
A side note: the following example does not match the criteria, but also confusing enough as the stop names, although spelled differently, have the same meaning:
Yellow Buses 6 - both directions: stops are named Bournemouth University, Bournemouth University, Talbot Campus, Bournemouth University in order, which all mean the same university campus. The first is located on Wallisdown Road, the second is located on Fern Barrow southbound at the bus station, the third is located opposite the second on Fern Barrow northbound.
In contrast, morebus 15 and 17 name the stops as Bournemouth University, Wallisdown Road and Bournemouth University, Talbot Campus (at the bus station), and do not call at the stop opposite the bus station, which are clear enough to distinguish them.
