Yes it does. There are still six trains a day (three trains a day in each direction) which run from Redhill to Reading only or from Reading to Redhill only. They are all early morning services on Monday to Friday only.

Ah, fair enough, it does meet the OP's criterion then. I thought everything went to/from Gatwick now, but since I retired, I don't use the early morning services any more .

I've got one I used to use regularly: Bristol-Brum (New St). A few XC trains late in the day or on weekends used to start and end there rather than running to/from Exeter/Plymouth.

Although ones such as St Pancras to Sheffield start with the same letter, the sound is different (s vs sh) so I’d argue they not are truly alliterative.
