I don't think you saw 82221 - this was withdrawn and scrapped following the Great Heck accident almost 20 years ago.
It was pretty much destroyed - there was a photo of the remains in the accident report, and it wasn't even recognisable as a DVT.
Oh dear.... although they rarely do, my eyes deceived me on this occasion. The DVT was the one in the shed and was the first one I spotted....
91127 is at Bounds Green, 91121 is withdrawn.
..... the 91 loco was the one on the tracks between the ML and the Shed. Good to have seen one, one last time.
The only sets of 91+Mk4s I've caught in the last decade have been
91128 + 82205 (FS Livery) 1N83 on 25 Aug 2018 (KGX > SVG)
91129 + 82214 1S09 on 27 Feb 2019 (KGX > NCL)
91122 + 82228 1E18 on 1 Mar 2019 (DHM > KGX)
Today's spots were from 800110 on the 1133 1D12 out of KGX - just not as good as a classic IC225 set. Although, at least the LNER cushioning are an upgrade from the ironing board like seats on GWR's IETs...
The 91s will be truly missed.
