Trip to Scarborough

In January we are having a break in Scarborough and want to use some bus day rovers. We would like to go to Whitby. Can anyone advise me on the best ticket. Thanks

Scarborough-Whitby is Arriva whereas Scarborough local services are primarily East Yorkshire. East Yorkshire have various rover tickets including ones for the Scarborough zone https://www.eastyorkshirebuses.co.uk/mobile-tickets. Arriva have a North Yorkshire Coast 3 day ticket extending to Middlesborough https://www.arrivabus.co.uk/buy-tickets/region/north-east/zone/ane062

Sadly, there is no real multi-operator ticket for the area.

Arriva is the main operator in Whitby and as well as the 3 day ticket, they have their North East day ticket at 8.60 or two persons travelling together for 13.50, or a family (2+3) at 15.00 https://www.arrivabus.co.uk/buy-tickets/region/north-east/zone/ane033

So you have three major operators in Arriva, Yorkshire Coastliner, and East Yorkshire but there is no inter-availability between them

And to clarify despite the name Yorkshire Coastliner operate inland to Malton, York and Leeds
