A mate and I recently visited North Lincolnshire / South and West Yorkshire areas in the hope of catching up with some of the newer GBRF 66s and the Neville Hill based units.
It was my mates first visit since he has started to relive his youth by chasing trains . Here are the results for a couple of good days..
Barnetby 16th October
We arrived here about 14.45 local and stayed the night in the Pub next to the station, havent quite got my head around matching trains to headcodes but this was the result of the day nice to see the 60s in traffic.

Then it was a side trip to York on 220032*
The main reason for the trip to York, was to visit the NRM, plus a chance to catch a Northern unit or two on the Selby service

We then had a quick walk down the road to take a look at Roberts Road

Day 3
Thanks to Matt , we had the vouchers to grab a couple of Northern Railcards for a tenner, the plan was to head off from Doncaster to Leeds and see where the day led.
My mate had been looking at various Northern timetables and worked out that a few units would be seen at Wakefield Kirgate that we wouldnt see at Leeds! So 0602 saw me buying our tickets at Doncaster ticket office
Doncaster 18th October

Then 321903 was our 0626 ride to Wakefield Westgate.
On arrival a quick walk through the quiet streets of Wakefield saw us arrive at Kirgate, the idea was to have breakfast here, but, whole station is being rebuilt..
Wakefield Kirgate 18th October

We then departed to Westgate on 155344*, a quick change to 150271* which took us to Leeds.

We then jumped onto 144014* to Cross Gates to have a ride passed Neville Hill.
Two HST sets and a 91 set kind of blocked all views of the depot, but the following were noted

Whilst waiting at Cross Gates for the return, 43304 and 43207 passed and 158848 was our return
Leeds continued

We then jumped on 142022* from Leeds to Woodlesford, so we could have a look at Midland Road
Midland Road
66508 66510 66523 66529 66545 66549 66551 66594 66599 and 66131 was seen at the Freightliner yard
A quick turnround at Woodlesford (not run so fast for a few years) saw us heading back on 144019 to Leeds
Back at Leeds we only added 158787 before we decided to have a trip out to Bradford, 333010 was our ride and we saw nothing on the quick 25 minute ride.
Bradford was not what we expected, so 10 minutes later we were on 333010 once again upto Skipton.
Skipton provided the following, which appeared to be stabled for the weekend 322481, 321901 and 321901
It was then back to Leeds on 333009*
We then had to wait at Leeds for about a hour for a returning 158 unit from Carlisle, that I had missed earlier in the day, in this time the following were added

Our return trip to Doncaster was on 321903* and at Doncaster a couple of extra units were stabled for the night 142041 150119 322484
Day 4, was just a return home with a visit to Toton and Peterborough
