Hi,
I'm completely new to this so my question may be a simple one but I am unable to find the answer.
I have a reciprocal travel pass which allows me free leisure travel on the trains of other TOC's that are owned by the parent company of the TOC I work for.
One of these is Cross Country Trains. Looking at their route map, it seems fairly extensive, including from Guildford up to Edinburgh and Aberdeen, as well as down to Penzance.
What I cannot seem to find out is an easy way to find out the journey details (times, connections, etc) for a route using Cross Country Trains only.
I am not sure yet where I plan to go, but if for example I try to search for a journey from Guildford to Aberdeen (on the National Rail app, or directly on the Cross Country trains site) it gives details of trains from other TOC's. I only want to use Cross Country trains as this is free for me.
As an example, if I search for the route Guildford to Aberdeen on the National Rail app it gives a typical result of 3 trains: Guildford to Reading with GWR, Reading to Edinburgh with Cross Country, then Edinburgh to Aberdeen with Scot Rail.
Given that the Cross Country route map:
shows it covers routes from Guildford to Reading to Birmingham to York to Edinburgh and to Aberdeen, I am not sure why there appears to be no option to include only Cross Country trains.
I was therefore just wondering if anybody on here would be able to tell me if there is a (hopefully quick and simple) way that I can find out the information I am after?
Many thanks!
