Trip planning in Spain

Hello! I’m going to Spain in a few weeks and am looking at planning my trip on the railways. I usually use the DB app; but spains railways aren’t on there (or very little is!) is there another website or app that does live departures/arrivals, trip planning etc for Spain? I’m looking at all types renfe, feve etc

You are right-ESpana/RENFE has always been not very enthousiastic in supplying its sparse timings to pan-European systems and they even have diminished it further-only AVE/Avant (on the normal gauge hi-speed lines) are in on bahn.de.
SO: obviously you are forced to enjoy the delights of the renfe.com site-which mostly wants you to freshen up your basics of the beautiful castillian variety of spanish. Its not too hard, but needs some getting used to. Train timings are subdivided in the various types of trains they offer and esp. the local suburban cercanias/rodalies are well-hidden behind the regions. First click ´viajar´-then choose. It is separate for only timings or doing bookings-then it will not show non-bookable trains! Good luck with it!
FEVE is no more-its now like ´the classic narrow gauge lines´. Note that non-RENFE (like SFM on Mallorca or EuskoTren in Basque area) will only have their very own site! Maybe UK-people know it all from how your buses have organised it!

Google Maps might be the best bet. The official RENFE site is appalling for journey planning, as they generally don't understand the concept of changing trains, and don't include ex-FEVE or Cercanías unless you go looking. Many services are incredibly poor in in terms of frequency, 3 or 4 a day being common, including some of the AVE lines

It probably won't help the OP's query about train times, but on the Adif site (Adif is the infrastructure owner in Spain, like Network Rail here) there is a set of quite detailed network maps.
They include things like speeds and gradients and cover the narrow gauge routes as well.
