Hi All,

Can a local tell me if there's much low lying snow on the Kyle line at present? Visiting the area next week and there's talk of doing the journey from Inverness but only if there's snow on the route.

All the group have travelled on the line before but never with snow.

Thank you,

Lee

Nothing at all at the moment up here, temperatures have been around 12C for the last few days, but the wind's getting up again now and it's due to get colder tomorrow.

Here's a link to a Dingwall forecast, complete with a weather station reading (Loch Glascarnoch, switch to desktop if it defaults to mobile) to keep you right.
