Any suggestions on how to get to the Stena Line ferry terminal at Travemunde Port.

Best way is to take the local bus (routes 30, 31 and 40) from Lübeck Hbf (main station) to stop Skandinavienkai Terminal. Please do not take the train to the stop Lübeck-Skandinavienkai because it's very inconvenient to reach the ferry terminal from this railway station.

Best way is to take the local bus (routes 30, 31 and 40) from Lübeck Hbf (main station) to stop Skandinavienkai Terminal. Please do not take the train to the stop Lübeck-Skandinavienkai because it's very inconvenient to reach the ferry terminal from this railway station.

Great stuff.Looking on Google it did look a little bit 'iffy' to use the train.Hence why I asked.Many Thanks.

Lübeck bus station is very close to the rail station, in good German style.

The local bus used to go through the port site from the stop on the river side of Skandinavienkai station to get to the passenger terminal. We were staying very close by so tried it on the way in to Lübeck - the stop is in an isolated spot and the whole was a strange experience.
