Is anyone (other than myself) using the TravelWest smartcard?
I suspect they are not well-used or well-tested as there are a few recurring bugs & glitches.

As far as I know they were launched along with the "metrobus" in Bristol with very little marketing.
I guess it is the environmentally-friendly alternative to buying paper tickets from the roadside machines ("iPoints")
The majority of metrobus passengers use TOTO or the First app though, hence they ignore these cards.

I guess someone with no bank account could use one of these by going to the bus station travel shop and topping it up with cash, thus they would be able to use the (cashless) metrobus that way.

I find the ability to load a daily or weekly AvonRider onto one of these very useful as I live in Bath and often use FWoE, Stagecoach West and Faresaver services on the same day. Awkward though as you either have to get it posted (new card every time) or go to Bristol where you can reload at an iPoint.
