travels again, Classes please

Could someone please give the the likely classes that work the following:

Tuesday, 9S65 1143 Euston to Glasgow
Tuesday, 1J19 1409 Birmingham Int to Aberystwyth

Friday, 1S40 1230 Aberystwyth to Shrewsbury
Friday, 1B68 1523 Shrewsbury to Euston

Something like 1x150 or 2x158 - will give me an idea of what to look for.

9S65: Class 221, unsure as to whether its 1 or 2
1J19: 2x Class 158, splitting at Machynlleth
1S40: Class 158, probably only 1 this time
1B68: Has to be a 221, I suspect only 1.

Just for the future, may I point you to the 'TOPS allocation' thread inside the 'Allocations, Diagrams and Timetables' sub-forum, which will answer all your queries, and through the power of the forum, can give you specific unit numbers on the day too.

I THINK the Shrewsbury-Euston joins to another 221 en-route (Wolverhampton, or Birmingham) It certainly separates going the other way, but I am less sure about the return. But it is only one on on departure from Shrewsbury.

Now that you've said that it brings a bell - granted this was a year ago, but another 221 joined us at Wolves.

If it's of any help, last Wednesday (20th), 9S65 was formed a single 221, 1B68 was formed a pair upon arrival at Euston. Can't tell where the second unit was added however.
