Travelling through Euston in August: should I expect disruption?

Hi all

I'm planning to travel from Stockport to Bratislava on Sunday 11 August. I've found a reasonably priced journey. However, I'm let down by the British system in that I don't know if trains will be running into Euston that morning. I know there's a 12 week window, but would you risk booking the rest of the journey? My worry is that if I wait for the British leg to become bookable, the cheap fares in Europe will have disappeared.

Are there likely to be Euston closures on Sundays in August?

I'm thinking of visiting the in-laws with the family, which involves travelling Liverpool - Euston (and onwards) in August and have been trying to find the very same information myself - Google searches pull nothing up but I don't want to take that as being theres nothing happening and then book non refundable hotel rooms only to find the journey is massively extended or not possible (travelling with 4 autistic children who don't like travelling long distance at the best of times)

Like the OP above, can anyone shed any light as to whether Euston will be closed at any pointy through August?

Pending someone having inside information, I suggest:
1. there is always a risk of engineering works on a Sunday morning, but the really big jobs tend to be over a bank holiday weekend.
2. check out Easter Day when Euston IS closed and decide whether the alternative route is practicable in your particular situation.
