I have a ticket booked by my travel admin. It is from Maryport to London Underground Zone 1 - I requested Tower Hill as a destination.

I don't understand the London Underground Zone 1 destination - does that meant the ticket can be used for travel from Euston To Tower Hill?

Also, as an aside, the new ticket design is oddly devoid of the information I'm so used to. Never mind the ridiculous long Northern tickets...

This'll be an easy answer but googling it is useless.

It does indeed mean you can make that journey without having to buy another ticket.

What information is missing from your ticket?

The ticket is valid for the journey to Euston and one underground journey from there to any zone 1 station. This includes Tower Hill.

Yes, it's valid for one single journey on the Underground (in each direction if you have a return). Assuming you're coming into Euston, walk to Euston Square and take the Circle line to Tower Hill.

The Tube Map also shows the zones - they are concentric, starting with zone 1 in the centre.
