In a recent thread there was discussion about the appropriateness of someone using a particular ticket. It appears that this was a trial method for those 'travelling' between x and y. Now the individual concerned claims his right to have used the same method as he was travelling between these stations, yet he was actually travelling from one further south to one two further north (using that company's route stops). My question is therefore is a rule that applies to passengers travelling between two stations also applicable if a passenger is on a train that travels through them, stopping, or not?
