I'm sorry, I did mean that it could be bought on board the train into PAD.

Ah, fair enough. I don't think I've heard the term "conductor" used in connection with train staff before — the usual term is "guard" or "train manager".

I think it became more confusing when I added more information on what buses to be used, sorry for any misunderstanding.

TPE announcements on the Oxenholme - Windermere line refered to the 'conductor' this afternoon, so it seems some of them are.

Seems a bit strange to me when I think of conductors and buses.
