Travel Voucher

Hi I have a single travel voucher for £14.85 from East Coast (and a £3 one from EMT) and was wondering can I use a single travel voucher to part pay for two tickets if doing it in one transaction. For example if I'm buying a a Return to Stoke (£6.45) then a West Midlands Day Ranger (£13.20) at the same time. I say this as I want to use the whole amount when I sue them.

Also the vouchers I've got only have a From and To bit on them and not a Rover/Other Service line as I've seen previously so where/what would you write if using them to buy a Ranger/Rover or if you were using them as part payment for two tickets.

Didn't you already sue them if you now have the vouchers? A rare example of a good typo...!

You can use vouchers for more than one ticket. No problem there!

As for filling out the back, then I would simply write something like 'From Cardiff To Valley Lines Day Ranger'. No one has ever asked me to complete those sections though!

I had never been asked until last week while buying an all zones travelcard so just wrote From Hertford N to TC for travel card and there was no problem

No problems with any of this. Don't fill in the back section though as the ticket office will do that.
So long as the vouchers are still valid then that's all we're bothered about.

Nobody ever asked me to fill out the back until a few months ago and on two separate occasions I had to complete them!

On the front is the space for a ticket number which is supposed to be completed by the clerk. I asked them which ticket number they were putting in the box so I knew what to complete on the back.

I've always had to fill it in, but I generally put the 3-letter code and it's been accepted. Staff are usually grumpy about taking them though - perhaps because they have to do something to them too (ticket code and date stamp).

They can be used for more than one ticket but only one journey's details needs to be written on the back. They can also be used as part payment for a ticket that costs more than the voucher value, though neither of these is accepted at Merseyrail ticket offices - or at least not in my experience!
