Hi all, can anyone help me on this as I dont know where to start. Whats the best website to get tickets for travel from the UK to Vienna by raila and what sort of price am I looking at for this. There are that many websites out there I dont know where to start. Is there something simial to our National Rail Enquiries website? Cheers
You can get as far as Salzburg, with Eurostar from London to Brussels, then ICE via Frankfurt and Munich, for as little as €49 one-way 2nd class, or €99 one-way first class (including Leisure Select on Eurostar). This can be booked on the
DB website. Salzburg (being a border station) is treated as a German station by DB. Then you could get a ticket Salzburg to Vienna on the OeBB website.

Note that if you use the DB website:
1. Bookings open 90 days before departure.
2. For international journeys, they will post tickets to your UK address. (Self-printed on-line tickets are only available for journeys within Germany, and some international journeys originating in Germany).
3. Quite often, the cheap 2nd class tickets sell out before the cheap 1st class tickets. You might see, for example, a second class fare of 89 while the first class fare of 99 is still available.
