I've got an Avanti West Coast Advance Single from Lancaster to Glasgow Central for Thursday morning at 7am.
As GLC high level is going to be shut, Avanti have stated that:
"Avanti West Coast tickets dated 8-13 March can be used at no extra cost on any Avanti West Coast train on the same route until the end of Friday 13 March."
Because I need to be in Glasgow early on Thursday morning, I'm planning on travelling via Edinburgh tomorrow evening.
The 'any Avanti West Coast train ... until the end of Friday 13 March' bit means I think I can use my Thursday 12th ticket on Wednesday 11th. What I'm confused about is the '... on the same route ...' given there are no trains going into GLC high level??
Can anyone advise if my ticket is valid to get to Glasgow via Edinburgh tomorrow evening rather than on Thursday morning?
