I've got an Avanti West Coast Advance Single from Lancaster to Glasgow Central for Thursday morning at 7am.

As GLC high level is going to be shut, Avanti have stated that:

"Avanti West Coast tickets dated 8-13 March can be used at no extra cost on any Avanti West Coast train on the same route until the end of Friday 13 March."

Because I need to be in Glasgow early on Thursday morning, I'm planning on travelling via Edinburgh tomorrow evening.

The 'any Avanti West Coast train ... until the end of Friday 13 March' bit means I think I can use my Thursday 12th ticket on Wednesday 11th. What I'm confused about is the '... on the same route ...' given there are no trains going into GLC high level??

Can anyone advise if my ticket is valid to get to Glasgow via Edinburgh tomorrow evening rather than on Thursday morning?

Don't read too much into the wording. You'll be fine. By "route" they will mean that you're going to or from Glasgow, that's all, not the specific "route" in a railway routing way.

You could also change onto a Scotrail service at Motherwell which will be stopping at Glasgow Central Low Level. It may not save you that much time depending on how well the connections are working at Motherwell.

To add to the confusion, the 0700 Lancaster-Glasgow (1S34) normally runs via Wishaw, not Motherwell.
Today's train has vanished off the Realtimetrains listing at Carstairs South Jn, so may have been diverted to Edinburgh.

From Motherwell, trains to Glasgow Central Low Level go about every 10 minutes from either P3 (via Whifflet/Carmyle) or P4 (via Hamilton) both taking 35 minutes.

Thanks for the advice. In the end, no-one checked my ticket anyway.
