Anyone know if a UK to Euro plug will work in a shaver outlet so for example to plug a mobile charger into a travel plug then into shaver outlet?

Sure your not getting confused with American plugs? I know the holes fit perfectly, just wondering if it was going to blow up my charger.

No definitely a euro one, tried it in Austria with no joy.

i had a shaver that worked out off a british to euro connection, so i dont see it being a problem.

maybe not as shaver plugs are marked for 110v mobile phone chargers etc are 240v

Not really all that knowlegable about electrikery

The shaver plug should say what voltage it is, most in this country do both(my shaver is 240v), but I can't be so sure about abroad.

usually for shavers there are 2 plugs, one is 110/115v and the other is 230/240v

I will probably regret asking this, but how can loosing something in the snow (which is pretty much a full story) be a long story?

Was is a blizard? Wrong type of snow??
