Paper assessments I found out a few days later via email, computer assessments you find out on the day and then are taken for your MMI if you’ve passed

you’ll be sent all the practise material which is all you’ll need to prepare for it when you’ve been given a date

Guess those of us from the last round with Acorn now have our answer.
Are Acorn still involved does anyone know. There seems to be a good few waiting to hear something. My last update was March

Yeh my last update was March. It would be great to know if it’s acorn or TfW running the recruitment process now. Have people gone to Acorn or TfW for updates in the past? I totally understand how busy it must be with the volume of applicants but it’s been almost a year now and I need to know if my application is actually still being reviewed / binned / lost !

Hi, anyone who has not had a no is still in a pool of candidates waiting to be shortlisted. I think TFW are pooling people they want for the psychometrics and interviews and once you have had that and obviously been successful a course can become available quite quickly.

I have already passed stage 1 and stage 2 including MMI to enhanced pass mark with another TOC so unsure whats the hold up. I've been in the pool since September. I emailed Laura around Xmas to see how things were progressing no reply. I'm hoping as tfw are still testing people that I'll get a job offer b4 Sept 2022. It's the hope that kills you tho.

TFW recruiting again for Trainee Drivers for Holyhead depot. Presume because they've lost a couple to the recent Avanti WC recruitment there. Did anyone apply last year but still not heard anything? If so give them a shout.

Im from Wolves and have applied for Shrewsbury or Crewe but considering asking to be included in Holyhead recruitment too now. But do they allow for relocation applications in the must live within 1 hour rule?

Does anyone know of any past questions asked? Sorry for all the questions, it has been a VERY long time since I did anything like this.

Morning, I don’t think they do the mmi the same day, we will be given a sheet with the questions on where we will have to write a brief answer down. If we then pass all assessments and get invited to the mmi, they will then ask the same questions and we will have to go into more detail about the brief answers we provided. I think varies. When I was offered assessment day in Cardiff I've had paper and computer tests and MMI all in one day. However, I live in North Wales so prefered to do it all in one day. Was told I passed next week and week later I did DMI via Teams

Did you not receive a confirmation email with all the details after she emailed you asking if your available on Wednesday? Once I’d emailed back saying I was available I had another email confirming I was booked on with all the details with time, location, covid form to fill in 48 hours before and what we need to bring with us? And then I received another email today updating the time?

Nice to see movement again, when did you apply, sure there will be a few opportunities to sit assessments in the next few week’s if you cant make this one , what depot are you in for? I seen the advertisement for Holyhead last week was only open for 4 days

Holyhead and Pwllheli if i remember correctly and I think I put Llandudno Junction down too
Think it was was the Acorn process from July last year
The mail today says those interested in Chester Holyhead and Pwllheli
