How did u find doing the dmi on teams? Any tips?
Sit looking at a window for the best lighting. Have your camera/phone/laptop whatever you’re using at eye level, I used a stack of books. Have a pint of water for when you get dry and I had a cup of tea also which I used to signal when I’d finished answering a question. Dress like your attending in person! I stuck notes on the wall, I didn’t need or use them but it felt like a safety net. Relax, easier said but just think to yourself they want to hire people not turn people down so prepare, try your best and you’ll be fine! Good luck.

Are there more example based questions in the DMI or is it more of how well you know the company, why should we employ you etc etc ?

Pretty much the same as you, applied the end of July and went into the talent pool the same day as you.

Where have you applied for? I've put down for the Shrewsbury depot.

The last contact I’ve had is from November 3rd saying my application is still under review. Seems very unlikely that it’ll be accepted at this point now seeing how others have been processed. Anyone else in the same boat?

I wouldnt worry about that... you are still in the running..same as me... I applied in July, same updates as a lot of other folk here... the way that some applications progress over others is a mystery to me, but I am sure HR have their system... ride it out I say... see what happens, enjoy the view...as many have said... nothing moves quick... but then again it sometimes does for some..... like I say.. mystery..

no rejection means I am still like they say under consideration

I think they might be doing it depot by depot. That's the impression I've got by the different stages I've been through as I've been grouped with people who have applied for the same depot as me.

I had the same but was worded slightly differently to the previous update mentioned about making a shortlist of applicants

Yep, same here. No matter how frustrating it is, I have to believe that no news is good news right now!

I applied really late (for Cardiff) compared to many here - end of August. Having said that the ad remained open for another month or so thereafter so there are likely more in the queue behind.

My only hope is that TfW do actually review all applications before reaching a quota as such. Would be horrible to miss out on numbers alone. The fact that applications are still being reviewed though gives me some confidence, they probably had enough applicants to fill all the available slots within a week of the ad going live!

Good point, I noticed the same. A subtle difference that at least makes it feel less like an autonomous mail.

Has anyone who have had their DMI shed some light on the kind of questions they ask? Is it more about your personality and what you know about TFW? Or are there competency based questions as well similar to the MMI?

Its a bit of both. Asked about your knowledge of tfw then its all about you and how you'd handle certain situations.

I'm in the same boat too, I applied on deadline day and my last email was the 3rd of November too. After speaking to a few though that didn't get through they found out after a couple of weeks, so I'd take it as a good sign, good luck!!

Does anyone know how long it takes to receive news from a recent DMI interview? And how they make you aware you've passed or failed?

Mine was about 10 days, but may depend on how many interviews they have to do. I had an email to say I passed and was put in talent pool

Thanks mate, Ive heard of someone receiving a Generic rejection email after two days when he was told he would be let know the next week so just wondering if this is normal practice or it takes a bit longer
