Can anyone she d some light on the medical please ? I have test my BP and it is approx 135/85 140/90. I have concerns this may alarm them, and if so would it impact my course start date. I know its not crazy high but im only in my 20s. What was peoples BP readings on the medical, and do you think age is factor ?

Stage 2 and MMI done yesterday! Now the wait begins..can't judge it but could have kicked myself on certain things I said

Well done on passing computer assessments, regardless of the outcome of MMI you should be proud of yourself. I’m sure you will be fine, just try to relax now and forget about it, this is the hardest part. Well done !

Thanks mate. I think it's natural to go away from an interview thinking you haven't done well. They said a week and was 6 days to hear about stage 1 so hopefully not long.

She did say the same and I was thinking I do appreciate that but I'd really like to just skip to the job now please haha.

Hi Guys, quick question I have my medical next week, with a provisional start date of 11th April. One how quick do they send out contracts, and also in regards to references do you fill these out on the paper work they send you, as my company has undergone a restructure and my references are no longer employees. I have emailed Laura, but unfortunately have had no response as of yet. Any insight would be appreciated

Hi mate, you should receive your contract about a week after your medical and there is an online form you fill in for references and your DBS check. Congratulations on passing everything.

Ok cheers mate, I hope i get mine by the Friday as i need to give my notice in for work. They have left me with very fine margins.

Hi mate. Yeh passed which I was chuffed about. Just awaiting a DMI date now...

Do the TFW train driver assessments expire after 3 years? If so, does that mean if you were not successful in gaining a driver position, in the 3 years after the assessment, then you would have to take the assessment again, but you can only do that after 2 assessments, as that is the test limit?

It’s 2 years from date of your paper tests. If not got a place on a course, then the whole process has to be retaken.

There's no limit to the amount of times you can take the test - only the amount of times you can fail.

Email Laura she will send you the confirmation letter via email if you haven’t received it. I got mine on the Saturday

My advice is take your time to read this thread (all of it) practice the materials provided, and try to relax.

Cardiff depot I assume as I live just up the Valley line. Plenty to read through over the next couple of days .

Is the 1st assessment day just the paper tests or is some of the other sections of the process included?
