Today I gave my new TfW Concessionary Travel Bus Card [Senior Citizen card] a spin.
It worked perfectly on all Arriva journeys, but was rejected every time I attempted to use it on Llew Jones buses, even though they use the same Ticketer system as Arriva.
When I mentioned this to the drivers, they simply shrugged their shoulders and said "Computer says 'No' ".
I have reported it to the issuing authorities, but wonder if anyone else has experienced the same difficulties.
I thought I was being ahead of the game by applying as soon as possible for my new card, and not leaving it to the last minute! The old one worked perfectly on all Welsh buses!
